Graphic Novel/Comic – Linoldruck, Lithografie

Painting, Monotype
Exhibition of Work Series

The “Free Improv” series is part of the thematic field “Music Related Paintings”, which has been a focus of my artistic work for around three years. By analogy with music, where sound events arise from spontaneous ideas and inspiration, I am interested in the immediacy that emerges when the time between impulse and execution is radically shortened—when thought and action become one as the result of intuitive effort.

L’air de nulle part — Bewegung ohne Ankunft

ART COLЛEKTIV
Video, Super 8 mm and Soundinstallation

Travel is movement—without it there is no departure and no arrival. A plastic bag dances silently in the wind, without destination or end. Super 8 loops show movement as a pure principle: atoms, fleeing animals, forced journeys. The empty suitcases wait. Seemingly silent, yet they carry memories within them—and themselves become sound. Whoever opens them disappears for a moment—in order to arrive.

Nationalistische Kakophonie

KuZo (Zoltan Kunckel)
Audioart

Nationalist Cacophony is a sound installation consisting of 196 small horns that simultaneously play the national anthems of all countries in the world. The individual melodies merge into an overwhelming field of sound in which no single anthem remains recognizable.

The work transforms symbols of national unity into overlap and chaos, questioning the construction of nationalist identities and the idea that cultural or geographical borders define who we are.

Sculpture

A selection of my works from recent years is on display. My sculptures move between figuration and abstraction. Forms emerge from the naturally grown material, suggesting bodies, movements and inner states without becoming unambiguous. By deliberately avoiding visible traces of processing, attention is drawn to the structures of the natural material itself.

The series “Glanz & Gloria” and “Lieber Löwenzahn” are devoted to the beauty of what is often overlooked. The photographs present insects and dandelions as fragile yet resilient manifestations of nature.

While “Glanz & Gloria” focuses on the shimmering materiality and delicate structures of insects, “Lieber Löwenzahn” looks at a plant that asserts itself with quiet persistence. Both series invite viewers to rediscover beauty.

Ricoh Gerbl
Objects, Text
Reading – texts from the literary blog “Bitch-Up”

Objects play an important role in everyday life. Most of the time we use them without examining them more closely. We assign words to them in order to define them and make ourselves understood when we need them.

Author and visual artist Ricoh Gerbl writes stories about objects. Whether these stories are true or only partly true remains open.

If we look more closely at objects, they can tell us something about the world.

GEMISCHTE GEFÜHLE

Jana Slawinski
Painting, Oxidation Works
8 pm: “Herbstkind – eine Reise zu Camille Claudel”, Staged Reading Written and Performed by Lore Seichter Murath

When we speak of “Mixed Feelings”, ambivalence resonates. It is naturally part of life. How enchanting that there are realms that demand no decision and are sufficient unto themselves. Air, light and color meet Slawinski—wonders worthy of touching the soul. She seeks a form for this, which has become a serious game: rusty, golden, intensely colorful and clear in composition, with a hint of melancholy. What joyful, mysterious resistance. Illuminated Greenhouse with Sculptures; Large Sculpture Built Especially for LNDB in the Garden

Artworks are presented within the context of an allotment garden. The spatial concept uses the existing garden design as an exhibition space.

Paintings by Kolja Richard and Florian Wolf are shown on the garden shed and, like their large sculpture built especially for the Lange Nacht der Bilder, enter into direct dialogue with the surroundings. The targeted illumination of ceramic sculptures in the greenhouse creates an interplay between inside and outside.

In the work Ping (2026), artist Teja Häuser evokes the death of her mother. Nine handmade glass wind chimes carry wishes on the wind, their sound rising toward the sky.

Here, nature is not merely a backdrop but an active part of the artistic staging.

Fair Fashion Made in Berlin, Mystical Floral Painting in Acrylic and Pouring Technique
Studio Sale and Gallery

Escaping everyday life and capturing the beauty of nature: this is the inspiration shared by fashion designers Curly and Maxie and artist Ela. Fine fabric prints meet cool everyday fashion. Slow fashion—made in Berlin. Acrylic painting and pouring techniques, as well as combinations of the two, are at the center of Ela’s mostly small-format works.

Blueskin

Giulio Giustini
Painting, Photography, Jewelry

Giustini’s works move between construction and reduction. Images are digitally and manually fragmented and reassembled, translating the Renaissance technique of spolvero into a contemporary context. Nothing remains complete: absence becomes an active space. Figures, gestures and artificial surfaces meet within a field of tension between control and dissolution. A fragmented urban Renaissance in which balance is never final.

Farb Form

Lotte Günther
Painting, Sculpture, Installation

Under the title “Farb Form”, Lotte Günther presents new paintings in her studio. What makes them distinctive is her use of unprimed canvas. The fabric absorbs the highly diluted acrylic paint, creating a unique matte, velvety surface. Gestural marks in oil pastel and impasto oil paint follow. The abstract paintings captivate with luminous color and clear forms.

Unsichere Zeiten

Andreas Kramer
Painting

In this series of works, I have tried to transform my perception of the present into painting. The result is a group of abstract landscapes populated by enigmatic figures, often positioned at the very bottom of the image, with a restless, dominant sky above—beautiful and threatening at the same time, just like red, the most active, powerful, sensual and existential of all colors, and the protagonist of many paintings in this series.

Personal Conversation, Viewing of Works

With her artistic work, Paula Krause opens up a fascinating journey into the psychological depths of painting. Her works combine postmodern narrative structures with deconstructive image processes in which figures, fragments and scenes unfold stories of hope, conflict and inner tension.

Titles such as “Psyche & Autonomie” or “Aufwärtsfall” function as nodes of narrative fragmentation that are emotionally affecting and intellectually challenging. (Text: Irakli Megre)

Visitors move through an archive of rescued textiles, a workspace with ongoing production, and an exhibition of finished pieces that are both fashion and artworks. Scattered painted objects occupy a space that reads as industrial architecture. Together—sometimes contradictory, sometimes harmonious, sometimes organic—they create a field of tension for the viewer: “Is this art, or can it be thrown away?” The question refers both to the painted objects and to the space itself, a former margarine factory.

Through their fragility, the space and objects also raise questions about failed urban and cultural policies.

Between Gesture and Structure

Mar Ripoll
Abstract Painting
Exhibition

Mar Ripoll’s works move between gesture, structure and fragment. In multilayered abstract painting processes, both expansive pictorial spaces and condensed compositions emerge. Through numerous overlapping layers, the works develop spatial depth and inner tension.

The works on display investigate balance, transformation and condensation as central elements of painting.

The use of different materials creates matte and reflective surfaces whose subtle transitions can only be fully perceived in direct encounter with the work.

Was bleibt vor dem Verschwinden. The Second Becoming

Jetoshi
Photography, Sketches, Ash

My work moves between dissolution and return. Through photography, sketches, stone and ash, I explore cycles of burning, memory and transformation. Light and darkness appear not as opposites, but as interdependent states. The pieces exist at the threshold between presence and disappearance, where traces become images and remnants become new forms.

“The Second Becoming” reflects this altered return through fragility, residue and renewal.

7:15 pm: Live Acrylic Pouring Performance

I express a longing for light, waves, surfing and freedom in atmospheric, flowing landscapes. Highly fluid colors—applied by pouring, spatula and palette knife, entirely without brushes—create a play of effects that I sometimes try to control and often do not. Live painting approximately 7–7.30 pm. Exhibition in the shared studio with Valerian Polienko and Laura Müller.

Berlin-based artist Julia Schramm presents a selection of paintings from recent years. Whether in her latest series “Hexen” (“Witches”), her bird portraits or earlier works, a thread of mystery and mysticism runs through all of them. Baustelle – Anfangen und Aufhören

Theo Thiesmeier
Film
Artist present

CONSTRUCTION SITE observes the transformation of a section of street during a period of urban construction. Flowing traffic gradually gives way to building works, and temporary interventions evolve into a new urban order. Colors, materials, and movements continuously shift, creating ever-changing visual structures.

With the installation of tram tracks and the appearance of a tram, the film reveals the city as a place of constant change. The street fragment becomes a model of an urban landscape that is never fixed but continually reshaped.

Interdisciplinary Group Exhibition (Curated Contributions & Open Call)
Performance, DJ

Against the backdrop of increasing digitalization and experiences of war, displacement and censorship, the project examines how people remain connected across distances. The exhibition “Correspondences” draws on the tradition of letters and postcards and translates it into contemporary formats. At its center are themes such as waiting, closeness, memory and resilient forms of communication beyond digital networks.

Studio visit, artist talks, invitation into the creative Flow, experiments in encounter.

Art as enthusiasm. As an act of liberation and as documentation of that very act. A counter-movement to art as a product. Art as reconnection with something greater than the self. As touch. Immersion in the fabric of the world. Explaining the world to myself and finding it.

Body – Art – Mysticism, an experiment in encounter.
